The evening of April 26th 2019, Future Museums sipped from the sky and took formation as a 7-feathered wing. A collective outcry from points across the map, one mantra improvised by a community of sunbeams. believed to have been the backing band for Damo, Damo haunted the performance with no apparition. Mari Maurice was there though, gail force winds through a saxophone, and wringing the life out of a violin and synthesizer. Peter Tran swung an axe at his MonoPoly and never once stood up from his pew. Tectonic plates shifted in subharmonic frequency, or was Reed Faitak also pinching at strings and rattling the windows like the “woofer”?? There were rumors of hallucinations, one in particular, one-by-one every color of the spectrum smeared across the eyes of guests and loved ones, no, never mind that rumor, Nicolas Nadeau was playing guitar. At the earth's core sat MCS and RS-V3, pendulum rhythms alternating impersonations of crashing waves at night, lava and power and coal turning into diamonds from hammerfist, percussive mania. I was partly there a part of it. I saw these things for myself as i vaguely remember lighting the torch and walking in the cave. this is the sound of all of it, destructive beauty honoring tall tales, we were all there together, tuning in and dropping out, the dream only lasts so long when its someone else’s dream.

Hypnotic, cathartic, a rising sun over the wreckage of the night. These electric explorations invite reflection, conjure daydreams. A great unfurling. Admo
An instant classic! The moment I put this music into my headphones, I knew this was something special. After that, I just had to dig into Pharoah Sanders discogrpahy. Sanders was already a giant of Jazz. But this last release, 18 months before his death can just elevate his reputation even higher. Rest in peace Pharoah! Alex Deschênes

4 peaceful jazz vignettes. Belt of Venus is aquamarine, with a slow, tidal energy as dignified as the sea. The aptly named plantwood is budding, emergent as flowers on dewy moss in the forest.
Stained Glass Sauna has a smoky, mountain resonance, while the Sunken Cabin emerges slowly from dust-mote stillness to tortured but deliberating peaks. The whole thing is bursting with character. Tom Colquhoun
