This album was inspired by the works of Philip K Dick, in particular his seminal novel, “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?”

A common theme found throughout Dick’s novels is the nature of reality and the “human” experience. The characters in his novels often reflect upon their own realities and question the nature of their own existence even if the characters themselves may not be human. By doing this he is calling to question the very nature of “humanity” and what is it that truly makes us human. Is it the capacity to love? Is it transcendental religious experience?

It is with these questions in mind that I present this album.

These songs were composed, performed and recorded by Atom Swan using a mixture of modern & vintage equipment. The tracks were recorded live without the use of any DAWs. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
